"POOR SERVICE DO NO TRUST THIS AGENCY!!! The agents and managers at this agency are inept, inefficient, and negligent. After adding a new car to my policy, they were unable to do the simplest tasks: adding the payments to my monthly bill (I have another car) or processing a credit from my previous car. They told me to ignore warnings from their own automated messages stating that my policy must be paid in full and not monthly. I spoke with four different agents (with Maria José being the most disrespectful and unprofessional) and two managers, in both English and Spanish, about the situation. This included repeated calls from January to March, without any resolution. The last word I received was, "Don't worry, everything is processed now." In April, I tried to update my odometer reading on the Drive & Safe App and couldn’t find my car. **THIS AGENCY CAUSED ME TO LOSE MY INSURANCE AND DRIVE WITHOUT COVERAGE FOR ALMOST A WEEK!** Nobody called me, nor did I receive any automated warnings that my insurance was going to be canceled. The reason given for the cancellation was “lack of payment.” Infuriated, I called the State Farm National Line and another agency, because **THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE OR RETURN PHONE CALLS EITHER**. I filed a complaint, but nothing was resolved. Jorge Galvan, one of the managers, told me the same story again — that it was an underwriting problem that would be solved soon, and that he would personally be in charge of communicating with me about the refund and monthly payments — but then he ghosted me, by not answering emails or returning calls. On the third week of May, I began receiving again automated messages from their office stating that my insurance would be canceled if I didn’t pay the full amount. The refund had still not been processed neither my car put on monthly payments. I called the National Line again and they said the last action this office took was to "look" for the refund/credit on April 30th. An email for Christian Durand on May 16 went unanswered — he seems to be a phantom, as I have never received any call or direct communication from him. Finally, I asked to be transferred to a new agent. The representative at the national line assured me that all my policy benefits (auto and house insurance bundle) would remain the same. This contradicted what Christian Durand’s office had previously told me — that I would lose my policy antiquity discount if I changed agents, which speaks volumes about their ethics. The representative told me that on May 19, Christian Durand’s office had left a note on my file stating they were not responsible anymore because I requested a transfer to a new agent. They washed their hands of it!!! **Please, save yourself the time, stress, and legal risk — DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY!** They will blame everyone else and won't be able to handle even the simplest tasks, such as processing a credit or adding a car to a monthly payment plan."
"We are very sorry to hear about your experience and apologize for the confusion, missed credits, policy cancellation, and the poor customer service you received. What you describe, including repeated calls with no resolution and conflicting information about agent transfer and discounts, is unacceptable and not the level of service we strive to provide. We have opened an immediate internal investigation, escalated your file to our agency principal and underwriting, and will review the refund/credit and payment plan so coverage can be corrected or reinstated as appropriate. A senior manager will contact you directly within 48 hours to confirm the actions taken and to ensure any refunds and billing corrections are processed promptly. Again, we sincerely apologize and are taking steps to improve our processes and training so this does not happen to other customers."
